So one day, my wife (then girlfriend) was in the studio playing around and I had asked her to spit a rhyme just to play around. Being MC Lyte is her favorite rapper, she starts to spit "Shut The Fuck Up". Shocked on how she sounded being her first time rapping, I had a beat in the vault and asked her to rap the song to it. After numerous takes, we finally settled on what you hear on the track. Adding the cuts and scratches and other background noises, I thought it was nice. Years later, going through my catalog of music I never released, I thought this would be perfect for this album. A tribute to her for encouraging me to keep doing my music when I felt I was done and wasn't inspired. Thank you love.
